終場前18秒籃網落後1分，林書豪三分線外果斷出手卻投了個籃外空心，籃網搶下進攻籃板後由Joe Harris強攻籃下，被火箭前鋒Trevor Ariza奮力封阻，籃網只好實施犯規戰術凍結時間。
籃網犯規戰術奏效，火箭僅2罰中1，但暫停過後發球竟以失誤收場，錯失追平機會，讓火箭守住勝利。
總計林書豪此役替補出賽20分鐘，全場投8中4，拿下10分、3籃板並送出全隊最高7次助攻，整體比賽內容還算理想。
籃網以Brook Lopez拿下26分全隊最高，另外Trevor Booker則是有10分13籃板的雙十成績。
火箭以「大鬍子」James Harden表現最佳，拿下36分8籃板11助攻，第四節多次突破得手讓籃網是防不勝防。替補上陣的Eric Gordon也是贏球關鍵，全場投進6顆三分球，總共砍下24分，打出最佳第六人氣勢。
