Batum全場拿下個人本季新高28分，並曾兩度在三分線Blackjack(21點) 報酬率/策略/扣除率分析外製造出手犯規，輕鬆以罰球拿下分數。
「這可不容易呢！」賽後Batum笑著形容自己製造三分出手的罰球，並表示自己參考了很多Reggie Miller和Kevin Durant比賽的方式，來完善自己「買犯規的藝術」。
但Batum也表示這「藝術」並非每次都會成功：「有時候裁判會買帳，但有時你換來的是一個很糟糕的投籃。」
除了Batum末節爆發之外，「天行者」Kemba Walker也是黃蜂贏球功臣，他全場20分有9分是在第四節攻得，至於Frank Kaminsky則是在上半場便攻下17分，幫助黃蜂取得領先。
雷霆仍舊以Russell Westbrook表現最佳，攻下33分15籃板，可惜「只」送出8次助攻，讓他無緣締造本季個人第17次大三元。
比賽第一節時出現令人莞爾的意外插曲，在剩下3分鐘時雷霆叫出暫停，Westbrook隨手將球往底線一扔，沒想到不偏不倚地砸中底線裁判的頭，Westbrook雖然立刻致歉但還是被判技術犯規，當下雙手抱頭顯得相當冤枉。
